No Shame On U offers mental health workshops and trainings tailored to a wide range of audiences, including businesses, law firms, non-profit organizations, professional development groups, religious institutions, summer camps, schools, and community organizations. We also deliver programs designed for adolescents and young adults.

Workshops can be conducted live or virtually and typically run for 60 minutes. Supplementary sessions can be offered as needed to reinforce initial training, address emerging challenges, and provide ongoing support.

Managing Anxiety During Uncertain Times: Tips and Tools for Coping

While you can’t control these events, you don’t have to feel helpless.  This interactive session provides evidence-based strategies to manage stress, stay grounded, and maintain mental well-being during uncertain times. Help! I am Worried about my Campers’ Mental Health

Youth program and camp staff play a vital role with significant responsibilities. This program provides mental health training and practical tools to help staff recognize signs of mental health challenges in children and adolescents and respond effectively to those in distress. The training focuses on strategies for creating a supportive and nurturing program environment, equipping staff to address the needs of youth with confidence.

Supporting a peer with mental health struggles can be challenging, and knowing what to say or how to help can feel overwhelming. In this session, participants will learn practical skills for offering meaningful support, including what to say, what actions to take, and how to safeguard their own well-being. By the end of this session, adolescents will feel confident supporting friends and loved ones and will gain insights on balancing empathy with healthy boundaries.

Resilience for Everyday Living and Traumatic Events

Resilience is the ability to adapt and recover when life doesn’t go as planned. It enables adolescents, whether in school or other settings, to navigate challenges like adversity, trauma, family or relationship stress, health problems, or school and work pressures. Resilience isn’t just an innate trait—it’s a skill that can be developed and strengthened. In this session, participants will uncover the key factors that build resilience and gain practical strategies for coping with both everyday struggles and more traumatic events.

Breaking the Stigma: The Power of Language in Mental Health

Words matter. The language we use shapes our understanding of mental health and influences how we view those experiencing mental health challenges. In this interactive session, participants will explore how certain words can alienate, sensationalize, and create barriers to treatment. They’ll learn preferred language and practical tools to challenge stigma, promote understanding, and encourage support.
