Prepared, Not Perfect: Navigating Difficult Conversations with Teens

Wish you had the right words when a hard conversation with a teen comes up? You're not alone, and you don't have to be perfect.

Presented by Susie Wexler of MAP Consulting, we'll build a toolbox of practical strategies for approaching difficult conversations with adolescents. Drawing on a social work-informed approach, this session offers empathy and support for the real work of staying connected with teens, even when the topics are hard. We'll talk about how these conversations can strain relationships and how to navigate them with more confidence and less fear of "getting it wrong."

This workshop is for anyone who supports teens: parents, grandparents, caregivers, mentors, educators, coaches, and more.
